YWAM is an international, interdenominational Christian mission agency. For over 50 years YWAM has been taking young people and sending them out worldwide. First, one goes through a DTS (Discipleship Training School), and then they go on an outreach program (mission trip).
My DTS will be in Minneapolis, MN. My outreach program will be (hopefully) to Iquitos, Peru and surrounding Amazon River villages.
As one can imagine, I am super excited and can’t wait to see where God will take me on this journey. It is an adventure of a lifetime. :)
I will try to update this blog weekly. I am not sure how well that will go, but I will give it my best shot.
Prayer requests: packing (That I will know what to pack and won’t become too frustrated doing it), for courage, safety (As I drive to Minneapolis, and the travel to outreach), and for good friendships.
